• Be available and prepared for the entirety of the shoot, which is scheduled for late afternoon into early evening on either February 27 or 28, 2024.
• Bring own drum kit if required (to be discussed upon casting).

Requirements:

• Age: 30 – 40 years old.
• Non-union only.
• Professional drumming experience, with the ability to play a wide range of musical styles preferred.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a professional attitude.
• Ability to take direction well and adapt to changes in the shoot environment.
• Must be local to the Providence, RI area or willing to travel (note: travel expenses are not covered).
• Availability on the specified dates and times.

Compensation Details:

• The selected drummer will receive a compensation of $1000 for their participation in the video shoot.
• Payment will be made upon completion of the shoot.

• Scene Description: A group of adult family members, including teen/adult children, parents/aunts/uncles, and grandparents/older family members, gathered for a cozy family get-together. The scene will capture the family cooking food, enjoying each other’s company, and engaging in authentic interactions that reflect South-Asian family dynamics.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a family get-together scene, engaging in activities such as cooking, dining, and conversing with family members.
• Collaborate with the production team and follow directions to ensure the scene is captured as envisioned.
• Bring authenticity and genuine emotions to the scene to represent the warmth and unity of South-Asian families.

Requirements:

• South-Asian families with members spanning multiple generations:
  • Teen/adult kids aged 16-25
  • Parents/aunts/uncles aged in their 30’s and 40’s
  • Grandparents/older family members aged from 50’s to older seniors
• Families must be based in Ontario, Canada.
• Previous on-set experience is not required. We are looking for families who can naturally depict the warmth and love of a South-Asian family get-together.

Compensation Details:

• Pay rates are $2500+ per adult.
• Total compensation for families of 4-6 members will range from $10,000 to $15,000, depending on the final number of family members participating.

Roles:

1. Female Senior

   • Age: 65+
   • Role Description: A regular transit user who takes pride in her seniors discount. We’re looking for someone who embodies the wisdom and warmth of the elder generation.

2. Child

   • Age: 8-12, any gender
   • Role Description: Enjoys riding the train with their parent. We’re particularly interested in children applying alongside their dads, to capture genuine family interactions.

3. Student

   • Age: 21-25, any gender
   • Role Description: A student commuting to school, representing the daily life of young adults in the education system.

4. Male Working Professional

   • Age: 35-50
   • Role Description: He’s a working professional commuting into the city on the train with his child. Dads applying with their child are highly encouraged, to showcase real parental relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a one-day video shoot in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Work closely with the director and crew to bring the character to life.
• Follow direction and provide feedback when necessary.
• Be prepared to perform multiple takes to ensure the best possible outcome.

Requirements:

• Must have Arabic heritage.
• Located in or able to travel to the Greater Toronto Area for the shoot.
• Comfortable being in front of the camera.
• For child roles, a parent or guardian must be present during the shoot.
• No previous acting experience required, but must be able to portray the role authentically.

Compensation Details:
