Project Details: “Freak the Mighty” is a new musical based on the book of the same name. The musical is currently in development and will have various readings in late 2024 (exact dates TBD).

1. Maxwell Kane
   • Character Description: Maxwell is a teenage boy with an extremely large and/or tall physical stature from any ethnicity. He is also a confident singer and serves as the narrator of the story.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend virtual auditions and callbacks as scheduled.
• Participate in rehearsals and readings as required.
• Collaborate with the creative team to bring characters to life.
• Perform assigned roles in readings and potential future performances.

Requirements:

• Age: Must be a teenage actor.
• Singing Ability: Must be a confident singer.
• Physical Characteristics: Must meet the specific physical requirements for the roles (Kevin has dwarfism, Maxwell has a large/tall physical stature).
