Featured Background Role for Feature Film “Jiminy”

Role: Featured Talent – Fire Evacuee

Job Details:

We are currently seeking a featured background actor for the feature film “Jiminy,” to be shot in Santa Fe, NM. This is a non-speaking role with a potential upgrade based on performance and director’s selection. The actor will portray a fire evacuee attempting to escape flames by hiding in a body of water.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a fire evacuee, including getting into a tank of water and reacting to fake fire and smoke.

• Maintain high availability and flexibility for shoot dates and times as schedules may change.

• Follow directions from the director and crew promptly and effectively.

• Ensure authenticity and consistency in performance throughout filming.

Requirements:

• Age: 40 to 50 years old

• Gender: Female

• Ethnicity: All ethnicities are encouraged to apply

• Physical Requirements: Must be fit, in good physical shape, and able to swim

• Must be comfortable around non-toxic smoke and fake fire scenarios

• Pay Rate: $250.00 for the first 8 hours; overtime at time and a half after 8 hours

Project Description:
“American Detective” is a non-union, true crime recreation series that focuses on dramatic reenactments of real-life investigations. The series uniquely portrays the unfolding of various cases without scripted audio, relying heavily on the visual portrayal of actors to enhance the storytelling.

Roles Available: Bar Patrons (2-4 Positions)

Type: Background/Extra

Job Responsibilities:

Project Description: “American Detective” is a non-union, true crime recreation series. The series meticulously reenacts real criminal investigations without scripted audio. The focus is on visual storytelling and authentic reenactment of the events.

Role: Officer #4

Job Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in the recreation of a true crime scene based on provided directions.
• Perform physical activities such as standing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, and walking during the filming process.
• Engage in moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs) as required by the scene.
• Collaborate with directors and other actors to ensure accurate and convincing portrayal of events.
• Adhere to all scheduled call times and be prepared for changes.
