We are seeking background extras for the upcoming feature film “Jiminy” which will be shooting in Glorieta, NM. This is a great opportunity to be part of a film production and gain experience working on set.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a background extra, portraying pedestrians or townspeople with or without your vehicle.

  • Follow directions from the director and crew.

  • Be present and ready for long shoot days, as per call times which are subject to change.

  • Maintain professionalism and discipline on set.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work locally in Glorieta, NM. Transportation and accommodation are not provided.

  • Must have full, flexible availability on the following dates: Monday, April 15, and Tuesday, April 16. You must be available for both dates.

  • Must be able to commit to a full 12+ hour day without definitive start and end times.

  • Own a vehicle that can be used on camera (car, RV, or camper). Additional compensation provided for use of your vehicle.

Compensation:

  • $117.00 for 8 hours of work with overtime paid at time and a half after 8 hours. Typically, the workday is approximately 12 hours.

  • An additional $25/day if booked with a car or $100/day if booked with an RV.
