All the Line Studio & Incubator invites talented actors to audition for the February reading of our Next Step Screenplay Series, “A Vagabond’s Chaotic Life” by Andrew Robinson. This romantic comedy tells the story of Steve, a shy computer expert with a passion for painting, and Jan, a vivacious art gallery owner, as they navigate the complexities of love and life.

Event Details:

• Date of Reading: Monday, February 26th, 7pm
• Location: Bynx Orlando
• Rehearsals: Read-thru plus two rehearsals TBD between Feb. 11th-25th

Roles Available:

1. Jan Bentley (Leading): Mid 20s female, petite, attractive, any ethnicity. Art gallery owner and stage manager volunteer, with a New York City background.
2. Steve Brennenschultz (Leading): Late 20s male, tall, good-looking, any ethnicity. Computer business co-owner and secretive painter, taking care of an invalid father.
3. Greg Williams (Supporting): Early 30s male, tall, confident, any ethnicity. Co-owns the computer business and manages Steve’s art.
4. Anne Bentley (Supporting): 50s female, any ethnicity. Jan’s elitist mother, fighting aging and wanting Jan back in New York.
5. Jackie Tort (Supporting): Late 40s female, any ethnicity. The Brennenschultz family lawyer with a Southern accent.
6. Monica Brennenschultz (Dayplayer): Early 40s female, any ethnicity. Steve’s supportive sister.
7. Male Supporting Track: Plays both Larry (mid-20s, geeky computer volunteer) and Carl Brennenschultz (40s, money-focused brother).
8. Female Supporting Track: Plays both Linda Ristori (Early 20s, attractive gallery assistant) and Alexa Brennenschultz (30s, actress sister).
9. Stage Directions/Narrator: Voice role for reading stage directions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participation in the scheduled read-thru and two rehearsals.
• Performance in the staged reading on the specified date.
• Collaboration with the director and fellow actors to bring the script to life.

Requirements:

• Previous acting experience preferred (include in resume).
• Availability for rehearsals and the staged reading between Feb. 11th-25th.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative creative environment.

Compensation:

• All actors will receive a $25 stipend for their participation.

Casting Call: Young Ted for “English Teacher” Project

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform as Young Ted, a 14-year-old boy, in a flashback scene for the project “English Teacher.”
• Portray a young version of a main cast member, embodying their characteristics and mannerisms in a cheerleader’s uniform during a powderpuff game scene.
• Work closely with the director and production team to bring the character to life, following direction for scene execution.
• Participate in costume fittings and any required rehearsals prior to the shooting date.
• Maintain professionalism on set and adhere to the filming schedule, including arrival times and makeup/costume appointments.

Requirements:

• Male, age 14, who portrays Caucasian.
• Waist size: 28-30 inches.
• Comfortable wearing a cheerleader’s uniform as part of the character’s role.
• Previous acting experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have a guardian or parent available to accompany the minor to the set and during the entire shooting schedule.
• Must be local to Decatur, GA, or willing to work as a local (no travel or accommodation compensation).
• Ability to take direction well and work effectively with the film crew and cast.

Compensation Details:

• Pay rate is $154 for up to a 12-hour workday. Overtime, if applicable, will be compensated accordingly.

Casting Call: Extras for “HARD FEELINGS”

Job Summary: CAB Castings, LLC. is thrilled to announce a casting call for the new movie “HARD FEELINGS”. We are seeking males and females, ages 18 to 25, who can portray teenagers/high school students for a lively teen party scene. Casting Call: Female Photo Double

Job Description: We are currently in search of a Female Photo Double for an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will closely match the physical characteristics of the actress she will be doubling for. This is a unique opportunity for those interested in the entertainment industry and looking to gain on-set experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the director, producers, and camera crew to ensure accurate representation of the actress.
