This campaign, set to air in the Albany Region and Central New York areas, will follow the emotional and transformative journey of our characters, particularly focusing on their decision-making process regarding cancer care.

Roles:

  1. Main Character (Deb):
    • Ethnicity/Gender: Hispanic female.
    • Age: Mid-50s.
    • Character Traits: Contemplative, resilient, warm, optimistic.
    • Role Description: The role involves portraying a woman recently diagnosed with cancer, deeply immersed in researching her treatment options. Initially, she is seen studying chess theory, symbolizing her careful consideration and strategic planning in dealing with her diagnosis. The character undergoes an emotional transformation, from initial uncertainty to gaining confidence and optimism after an informative appointment at the hospital. In the final scene, she is back at home, playing chess with renewed optimism and confidence in her decisions. This is a non-speaking role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a 2-day shoot in Syracuse and a 1-day shoot in Albany (mid-April).
  • Portray the character’s emotional journey authentically and convincingly.
