Job Description:

Alessi Hartigan Casting is seeking an 18+ African American Stand-In/Double for an upcoming A24 feature film project. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on this exciting project, with responsibilities beginning on November 1st and extending to a full-time commitment from November 6th to December 14th. The project will be filmed in Santa Fe, NM and ABQ.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a stand-in/double for the lead actor, accurately replicating their physical presence and movements on set.
  • Collaborate closely with the cinematography team to ensure lighting and camera angles are optimized for the final shot.
  • Pay meticulous attention to details regarding positioning, gestures, and facial expressions to maintain continuity in the film.
  • Adapt to any necessary changes in blocking and performance based on directorial guidance.
  • Maintain open communication with the director, cinematographer, and production team to ensure the highest quality output.
