  • A newly single Korean American woman tries to retake her son’s first school picture with her two sisters.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN FOR PRINCIPAL (SPEAKING) ROLES:

NOAH (Korean-American Male, Age 6-10) First grader and only child to a single parent. Sensitive and emotionally mature creative type who can quickly read the room. Infatuated by the ocean and sea creatures. Doesn’t have many friends at school, but it doesn’t bother him. (LEAD ROLE)

JEAN (Korean Female, Age 27-35) The chic and charming youngest sister. Fierce, stubborn and opinionated. Enjoys the finer things in life. Prefers red wine over soju. Likes to go shopping in her free time with her husband’s credit card. *Must be fluent in Korean* (SUPPORTING ROLE)

YUNA (Korean Female, Age 36-40) The reserved and resilient eldest sister. A conservative, proud, and protective over-thinker. Doesn’t want to cause any trouble. Keeps to herself. First to move to the states with her husband. *Must be fluent in Korean* (SUPPORTING ROLE)

MR. PETERS (Caucasian Male, Age 35-45) Noah’s public school first grade teacher. Naturally good with children but has too many students in his class – not good with their names. New to the school and worn out by the end of the day. (DAY PLAYER)
