Roles Available:

1. WOMAN (Character Portrayed is in her 40s, Female, Somali):

• Description: A mother to a teenage son. She is savvy, warm, and self-sufficient.

2. BOY (Character Portrayed is 16-25 Years Old, Male, Somali):

• Description: Easygoing with a boyish energy.

3. MAN (Character Portrayed is in his 50s, Male, Somali):

• Description: Vigilant with a sense of humor.

We welcome submissions from individuals of Somali heritage, spanning various abilities, ages, and genders. No prior acting experience is required; we encourage fresh talents to audition.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare for auditions by studying the script and understanding the character’s motivations and background.
• Attend auditions and callbacks as scheduled.
• Collaborate with the director and fellow cast members to bring the characters to life.
• Be available for rehearsals and filming during the specified shooting period.
• Embody the character’s traits, emotions, and nuances to deliver a compelling performance.

Requirements:

• For the WOMAN role, candidates must be female, Somali, and in their 40s.

Job Details: We are seeking a 6’5″ or taller individual to serve as a body double for Giannis Antetokounmpo. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals in the Chicagoland and Milwaukee areas to participate in a high-profile project. You don’t need any basketball skills or acting experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Stand in for Giannis Antetokounmpo during scenes that require a physical presence.
• Mimic Giannis’s movements and body language to ensure continuity in the production.
• Collaborate closely with the production team and follow directions provided by the director.

Requirements:

• Height of 6’5″ or taller.

Main Street – Short Film Casting Call

Job Details: We are seeking a Female-presenting actor of Asian or Pacific Islander descent for a non-union role in our upcoming short film “Main Street.” This is an exciting opportunity for actors of all experience levels, aged between 21 and 58, fluent in Mandarin.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Description: We seek a talented individual for an upcoming commercial shoot in Richmond, VA. This is a nonunion project that requires a self-tape submission. The selected candidate will play the role of a playful and humorous hater with a natural personality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray the character with a playful and humorous demeanor.
• Engage in quick-witted banter in the comments section.
