C&J is looking for the below talent to work as Featured Background for an upcoming commercial.

  • REAL FAMILIES WHO LOVE TO GO KART:
    • Ages 16 and up. Looking for real family groups who love to race GoKarts.
  • YOUNG ADULT MALES:
    • Ages 18-20. Looking for guys with a rougher/tougher edge to their look. Basketball skills a bonus, but not required as not everyone will be playing basketball in the scene. Would love some options who are at least 18 but look younger.

SHOOT DAY IF SELECTED: 5/16 or 5/17

Location: Charlotte/Concord or surrounding area

Rate: 300 per person (if selected)

First up are a few speaking roles for:

  • MALES 25-45 years old for this local Chicago NON-union commercial. You need to be NON-union.
  • SPOKESMEN (call center, retail & construction) that can ‘speak SPANISH’ and be confident to deliver a line.
  • RAPPER and CHOREOGRAPHER top selects will be contacted by tomorrow. Dancers will be selected next week.

Also, need a male to play the Lyft driver looking out the window and talking to his passenger
on a residential street (need to have a valid driver’s license.)

Need to speak SPANISH. 

Rate of Pay: $700 for up to 8 hours

Specs: Male/25-45 years old

Location: Chicago, Illinois

We are looking nationwide for:

  • REAL INVISALIGN PATIENTS whose lives have been transformed by their NEW SMILES!

We’re not just looking for people with flawless smiles. We are searching for individuals from all walks of life who are REAL INVISALIGN PATIENTS and reached a significant milestone with the help of their newfound confidence and smile.

All participants must have completed their invisalign treatment within the past two years or must currently be in treatment.

All participants must live & be able to legally work in the united states. No exceptions.

This project shoots in Los Angeles, CA.

Non-California residents will be flown to LA to film if selected.

Examples of real stories we’re open but not limited to:

  • – Someone who lived with a speech impediment prior to their Invisalign treatment and now has the confidence to speak up, maybe even in public
  • – A couple who fixed their smile together before their wedding day
  • – A parent who fixed their teeth at the same time as their teenage son or daughter
  • – a Content Creator who elevated their online presence after finding the confidence to smile on-camera
  • – Someone who wanted to fix their smile before returning to the office post-pandemic
  • – Someone who was self-conscious about turning on their camera for virtual work meetings
  • – An entrepreneur who reinvented themselves thanks to the confidence their new smile gifted them
  • – A teacher or public speaker who got a significant confidence boost now that they are no longer worried about their smile when commanding a room
  • – Someone who gained the confidence to go on dating apps after changing their smile
  • – Someone who met their now-significant-other shortly after completing their Invisalign treatment
  • – Someone who is in the middle of their Invisalign treatment and is already seeing and feeling the rewards of their changing smile

COMPENSATION:

FOR NON-UNION, ON-CAMERA PRINCIPALS

SESSION: $500.00 + 20% agent fee (if applicable) per shoot day. One-time fee covers all services and/or roles performed during the 10 hr. work day (excluding up to 1 hr. meal break). Overtime, if any will be paid @ $75.00 + 20% per hr. or fraction thereof after the initial 10 hrs.

WARDROBE FITTING: $75.00 + 20% agent fee (if applicable) covers all wardrobe fitting time for shoot

TRAVEL: $250.00 + 20% agent fee (if applicable) per travel day, if needed.

BUYOUT: $3,500.00 + 20% agent fee (if applicable) – Fee covers use of unlimited creative in all forms, of moving media, including, broadcast, digital, screen-grabs, behind-the-scenes, Industrial, worldwide, one year from the first public use date. Fee payable within 30 days from the first public use of any creative and provided the talent is fully recognizable in the final creative and if any such creative is used.

USAGE RENEWAL OPTIONS: 2x additional (1 year) renewals with 10% increase from the previous terms usage buyout. Usage renewal fee payable within 30 days from the start of the renewal term.

NON-Speaking/NON-Union Roles for Commercial:

  • Females & Males 25–55 years old for this local Chicago NON-union commercial. 
  • You need to be NON-union. 
  • Need to have availability from June 1st to June 5th. 

Rate of Pay: $150 for up to 8 hours, plus time and one-half OT

Specs: Male & Female/25–55 years old

A few will be cast for a line at a higher rate of $500. If you are ONLY interested in the $500 speaking role, please indicate in your email if you speak Spanish. That is necessary in this commercial.

CREATIVE SPECS: 

This project seeks blue collar, working class, day laborer, and dirty job types. Hard working, grit-fueled individualists who don’t place their value in a polished appearance or a phony persona. Anti-corporate look.

Please note we are not set on ethnicities/ages per role. We want diversity but we are ok with each role varying.

  • A Shoe Shiner – male, 30’s – 50’s, all ethnicities. Needs a friendly smile to make the emotional landing with the camera.
  • A Basketball Player – male – a boy – a real basketball player,11-15yr, African American. Slender. Basketball skills are a must.
  • An Aged Man – male – late 60’s – 80’s, All ethnicities. An older man who is still working to make ends meet, still gets dressed every morning to go work in his shop. Works with his hands.
  • An Aged Woman, female – Late 60’s – 80’s, All ethnicities. A thrifty elderly woman who keeps herself busy with her hands.
  • A Homeless Man – male, 50’s – 60’s, all ethnicities. unkept. weathered face, overgrown hair and beard.
  • 3 Salty-Dog Men – males – 50’s – 60’s. All ethnicities. A group of salty dog men who knew each other and regularly get together to play cards, or just hang and rib each other. (Groups of friends encouraged to submit/audition together)
  • 2 Backyard BBQing Men – male, 30s – 40’s, African American. Men enjoying a BBQ outdoors. Would love real friends and family to submit/audition together.
  • A Backyard BBQing Woman – female, 30’s – 40’s. African American. A woman who’s friends with the two men. Again, would love real friends and family.
  • A Small Trade Shop Owner – male, 30s – 60’s, all ethnicities. Owns and works in a real shop. A trade skill. Nice to have facial hair, character lines on his face and well worn hands. Potential small shops/skill ideas, motorcycle repair, auto/boat repair, fabrication & welding, Repair: electronics, instruments, tailor, watch, etc.
  • A Union Worker, Day-Laborer – male – late 20’s – 50’s, all ethnicities. Dirty job. Works in a steel mill, the river port, or the factory. Weathered face, well worn hands.
  • A Trailer Park Home Owner – 30s-50s, A trailer park / mobile home owner. (Do not need to own a mobile home, but if you do a plus) Lives with this dog.(do not need to own a dog to submit for this role, but must be comfortable with one). If you do own a dog please include in part of your video and include photos. ALSO, let us know if you have a son or daughter between the ages of 5 to 9 who would be willing to be in the scene.
  • A Custodian – male, 30’s – 50’s. All ethnicities. A custodian, janitor or employee responsible for taking care of the space.
  • A Construction Worker – male, late 20’s – 30’s, all ethnicities. A construction worker who commutes via the bus/train to his job downtown.
  • A Business Man – male, 40’s – 50’s, all ethnicities. This is our clean-cut exception to our blue-collar rule. Slender build. 5’10 or taller. Well groomed facial hair or no facial hair.
  • Child-Between 5-9. Father must be willing to be in the scene with the child. Both should go on tape. Father can answer questions, the child can just be in the video and be themselves with the father.

For these two roles, it is possible they will not film in Chicago, but Monee Illinois (southern suburb). You need to have reliable transportation to drive there or live close by.

  • Moms and Dads with at least 2 children between the ages of 4 and 8 for an upcoming Indiana Tourism Shoot
