NON-UNION BACKGROUND FOR AMAZON STUDIOS FEATURE

WHERE: NASHVILLE AREA (only accepting submissions from Nashville area locals)

WHEN:  WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12TH & THURSDAY APRIL 13TH (MUST BE AVAILABLE BOTH DAYS)

RATE: $80.00 for 8 hours (8-hour guarantee + time and a half after 8 hours). Must be able to commit to being on set for 12+ hours. We may only need you briefly, but you must be able to save to that. 

WHO:

  • ALL GENDERS 35-70 YEARS OF AGE TO PLAY OPTICIANS AT A HOTEL (MORE CONSERVATIVE TYPES)
  • ALL GENDERS, 25-65 YEARS OF AGE, TO PLAY HOTEL STAFF
  • MEN, 20-60 YEARS OF AGE TO PLAY BELLHOPS IN HOTEL

Please note this will require a pre-employment Covid test and costume fitting. 

Testing and fitting may take place on separate days (TBD)

Fitting $20 compensation (2 hours) 

Covid Test: $30 payment (24-48 hours before working)

COVID/VACCINATION:

Consistent with the COVID-19 Return to Work Agreement, this production has a mandatory vaccine policy for working in Zone A, including actors and background actors. This production may make limited accommodations as required by law for individuals that cannot be vaccinated because they are minors, have a disability, and have a sincerely held religious belief.

As of March 15th, 2022, the definition of ‘Fully Vaccinated’ includes a booster dose. If you’re NOT eligible for a booster dose until after March 15th, you can work until considered suitable for a booster.

  • Marco was beaten and his body was burned. Running for mayor as an openly gay Black man, he knew he would be a target during his campaign. His death was immediately labeled a hate crime by the media.

COVID TESTING:
The new policy at the studios is that 1 MANDATORY COVID TEST the day before work is required whether you are vaccinated or not. You will be paid $25 for each test taken.

Must be available for COVID 19 testing at our remote testing location in Atlanta. No outside Covid test from anywhere else will be allowed. If interested in working this position and these dates, testing goes as stated above with the specific filming dates.

Testing is NASAL PCR and you will receive a $25 COVID TESTING BUMP on your voucher the day you report to set for each test taken. YOU MUST REPORT TO SET TO RECEIVE THIS BUMP! Tests from other productions are not valid on this set as each production has their own Covid guidelines and labs. Your results must come from the designated lab that all cast, and crew use on this production.

The rate for extras on this production is $90 for 8hrs of work (Paid time in a half each hour after 8hrs), which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.
