CASTING KIDS WITH NATIVE AMERICAN / INDIGENOUS HERITAGE FOR A TEXTBOOK COMPANY

We’re looking for kids ages 11-18 with Native American / Indigenous heritage to appear in a photo shoot for a school textbook company in the Pittsburgh area. The children will appear in a classroom setting with other kids.

Pay is $250 for approximately four hours of work on one of the following days: March 24, 25, or 26. You’ll only work one day, but we don’t yet know which, so you must be available for all of them.

It would be best if you were local to the Pittsburgh region — no travel expenses are reimbursed.

  • Mom and Daughter are NOT actors or models and have no prior professional experience in front of the camera. 
  • Looking for teen girls (and their mothers) willing to speak honestly about the unrealistic beauty standards perpetuated in social media and elsewhere.  
  • Particularly interested in teen girls who spend time on social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. They like to play around with filters for fun, or perhaps they or others they know have felt pressure to use beauty filters to feel better about themselves.
