For our fourth season, we’ll be telling the dual stories of Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X. For an upcoming scene, we are looking to cast background talent to portray HISTORICAL FIGURE MORRIS B. ABRAM, MLK’S FIRST LAWYER

We are looking for talent:

• able to portray Caucasian or Jewish male
• approximately age 30-50
• height AT LEAST 5’11” 
• chest/jacket size up to 46″

Dates: Fri Feb 24 + Covid test Thur Feb 23 +TBD fitting

Rate: $175/12 for filming date, $43.75 for Covid test and/or fitting

IMPORTANT: NEW BOOSTER REQUIREMENT FOR PEOPLE AGE 50 AND ABOVE, AND NEW VACCINE REQUIREMENT FOR MINORS AGE 6 MONTHS OR OLDER This Production has a mandatory vaccination policy for all Zone A workers, including Background Actors, Stand-Ins, and other talent ages six months and above working on its set.  According to the CDC, people aged 50 and above are eligible for a second booster, and minors aged six months and above are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.  To be eligible to work on this production, you must be (1) either (a) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine AND received a “Booster” if you are eligible for a Booster according to CDC guidelines (click here to check if you are eligible for Booster) (Also: if you received the AstraZeneca and Novavax vaccines, then three doses of any combination of Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, or Novavax vaccines would deem you Boosted) or (b) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine but not yet Booster-eligible; or (2) have a medical disability or sincerely-held religious belief that prevents vaccination. NOTE: As a condition of working on set, all talent is required to get the Covid-19 test at a production-sanctioned testing facility before any work date.  Must be okay with any test (nasal swabs, etc.). Additional testing may also be done on workdays. While at the test facility and on set, Production requires that a face mask that covers your nose and mouth be worn.

CASTING CALL

We are casting for a Feature Film and are looking to cast for a Primary Part.
Requirement:
Female-18-22 Years

(She should be good-looking with an Urban personality.)

Here is an excellent opportunity for a few talents. We will be casting the background talent and have a post next week for this new film!

– It should be another good one! We have worked with this Producer/Director a few times, and some of the crew and ADs are from some of the extensive Chicago shows. They asked for our assistance on a few minor roles that they need help filling. We have an excellent pool of talent.
– It would be best if you had reliable transportation as the shoottheylms are primarily in the South Suburbs of Illinois and Indiana (mostly Gary and Merrillville).

You would also have a Wardrobe Fitting sometime this Monday–Wednesday.
MIGUEL: Cleans with Ray, Hispanic, 20 (at least 18 years old)-50s, the person who does hard labor, a friendly disposition.
