A rebellious teenager harboring resentment for her dad who made her move to a new place.

TOM: Male, 40-50, Asian
On the outside, Tom is a stern, masculine man hardened by his childhood as an immigrant to the US. But, he harbors a soft spot for his daughter, Tess, and tries his best to relate to her as she undergoes the throes of being a teenager in a newfound place.

STORY LINE:
A rebellious teen, Tess, tries to come to terms with moving to a new city, stirring her relationship with her single father.

OTHER NOTES:
This is an NYU Graduate Film project. 1-2 rehearsals will be required before shooting and scheduled around the actor’s availability. Meals and transportation will be provided as well as
footage for use on actor reels. Self-tapes will be required if selected to audition.

This production’s HEALTH & SAFETY TEAM will notify you of your requirements after you have submitted your vaccination information. If it has been less than 2 months since your last dose, you will be eligible to work until 21 days after you become eligible for the updated booster. If you receive the booster during those 21 days, you’ll be cleared to work thereafter. Examples for this “Grace Period”: Let’s say you are Vaccinated with no booster OR the 1 booster and Health and Safety NOTIFIES you on 9/1/22 that you need the new shot.
