Calling all Augusta Peeps!

I’m casting the feature film 5-STAR MURDER, which will begin filming in Augusta in February.  
The purpose of this post is to provide an opportunity for Augusta locals to submit, especially those who are not currently represented by an agent.
This will be under the SAG-AFTRA New Media (Mod Low) contract.  

Those rates are $379/ daily; $1,315/ weekly.

I am seeking talent local to Augusta, Georgia – travel , housing and per diem is not provided, because I am seeking talent LOCAL to Augusta, Georgia.  If you submit to this email address, you are confirming you are a local OR willing to work as a  local hire.

59 to 72 years old; all ethnicities; man. Wealthy guest at the Libertine. Husband of Joan. Relies on a cane. Refuses to leave the Libertine during the storm. Dealing with serious health issues. (20 scenes)
[BRIANNA]
39 to 49 years old; all ethnicities; woman. A maître d’ at The Libertine. Organizes the guests who stay behind in the storm. Her mysterious death sets the remaining guests and Marcos into a quest to discover her killer. (Please note any stunt/ fight training) (15 scenes)
[ROSE]
20 to 25 years old; Hispanic, Mixed Ethnicity, white; woman. An extremely high-maintenance social media influencer. Has a unique family tie to The Libertine. (Note: implied nudity only under sheets.) (11 scenes)
[DYLAN]
28 to 35 years old; all ethnicities; man. Muscular, tanned. Boyfriend of Rose. Suggests they stay at The Libertine after their “one week anniversary,” but has ulterior motives for the location. (Note: implied nudity only under sheets.) (10 scenes)

39 to 50 years old; all ethnicities; man. Bearded, “looks like Jesus.” Presents himself as an “intentional vagabond.” In reality, he’s a treasure hunter. (10 scenes)

20 to 40 years old; all ethnicities; man, transgender man, nonbinary. Works at the Libertine as a concierge. (4 lines)
[OWNER]
50 to 60 years old; all ethnicities; man. Owner of The Libertine Hotel. “Heavy, suited.” Showcases a work of art to a wealthy architect. (1 scene)
[WAITER]
20 to 40 years old; Hispanic; man, transgender man, nonbinary. Delivers a message to Caroline in Spain. Must speak fluent Spanish. (2 lines)

Casting Call For Speaking Role in a Major Streaming Service Series

Character is:

• White or Latino
• Male
• Between the age of 20-50 years old
• who is over 6’0″.
• Horsemanship skill are a plus.

Pay for the foregoing role is governed by the currently effectie SAG/AFTRA collective bargaining agreement and thus, we be no less than the minimum set forth therein and up to any “better conditions and terms” negotiated and obtained as expressly provided therein.

Athena has a mandatory vaccination policy for all Zone A workers, including Background Actors, Stand-Ins, and other talent ages 6 months and above working on its set.  According to the CDC, people age 50 and above are eligible for a second booster, and minors age 6 months and above are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, at this time.  To be eligible to work on this production, you must be (1) either (a) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine AND received a “Booster” if you are eligible for a Booster according to CDC guidelines (click here to check if you are eligible for Booster) (Also: if you received the AstraZeneca and Novavax vaccines, then three doses of any combination of Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, or Novavax vaccines would deem you Boosted) or (b) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine but not yet Booster-eligible; or (2) have a medical disability or sincerely-held religious belief that prevents vaccination.  
If you become booked, any offer of work is “conditioned” on you providing adequate proof to Production that you and/or your minor meets the criteria mentioned above.  If you are unable to show adequate proof to Production, then you and/or your minor are ineligible to be hired for this Production.

Synopsis: A therapists has to listen to the rantings of others daily as he tries to offer advice to their problems. He deals with obnoxious and lack luster people who don’t even know their own self worth whilst also dealing with those who know their downfalls. Even dealing with those who are very innocent and only want everyone to be happy.

Royce, 28-35: M

Appearance: Preferable hairstyle is locs whether it is starters are fully grown. Fit, casual look, African American.
Personality: A male therapist that listens to others’ problems. Traits are blunt, quick-witted, and impatient.

Darius, 20-25: M

Appearance: Heavyset, high school basketball coach build, African American.
Personality: A whiny male whose self-awareness does not reach past the length of his arms. Traits are insecure, arrogant, and oblivious to himself.

Personality: An emo male who judges those that are normal harshly as he is an outcast. Traits are insecure, self-aware, and intelligence.

Appearance: Innocent looking, African American.
Personality:  An exceptional little girl who only wants everyone to be happy. Traits are intelligence, observance, self-aware, and curiosity.
