Skater Extras Casting Call

*Must pass COVID test to work. Even if you test negative, you are not confirmed for work unless we send you details confirming shoot day.*
Kainoa M is taking submissions for a production seeking Union or Non-Union background who can portray men and women with roller skating experience, preferably who also own a pair of skates. The scene is to be set in a gay/drag bar, seeking predominantly femme and androgynous looks.
 
Dates are still TBD. Below are the POSSIBLE Work days. Scheduled to test and shoot in LA.

This production has a mandatory vaccination policy for all Zone A workers, including Background Actors, Stand-Ins, and other talent ages 5 and above working on its set. To be eligible to work on this production, you must be (1) either (a) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine AND received a “Booster” if you are eligible for a Booster according to CDC guidelines (click here to check if you are eligible for Booster ) (Also: if you received the AstraZeneca and Novavax vaccines, then three doses of any combination of Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, or Novavax vaccines would deem you Boosted) or (b) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine but not yet Booster-eligible; or (2) have a medical disability or sincerely-held religious belief that prevents vaccination. Any offer of work is “conditioned” on you providing adequate proof to Production that you meet either of the criteria mentioned above. If you are unable to show adequate proof to Production, then you are ineligible to be hired for this particular Production.
Regardless of vaccination, you must still test negative for COVID-19 on one or more tests to be arranged by production prior to the first production work date.
As a condition of working on set, all talent are required to get Covid-19 test at a production sanctioned testing facility prior to any work date. Must be okay with any form test (nasal swabs, etc). Additional testing may also be done on workdays. While at the test facility and on set, Production requires that a face mask that covers your nose and mouth be worn.

The new policy at the studios is that 1 MANDATORY COVID TEST the day before work is required whether you are vaccinated or not. You will be paid $25 for each test taken.
***Must be available for COVID 19 testing at our remote testing location in Atlanta. No outside Covid test from anywhere else will be allowed. If interested in working this position and these dates, testing goes as stated above with the specific filming dates.
-Testing is NASAL PCR and you will receive a $25 COVID TESTING BUMP on your voucher the day you report to set for each test taken. YOU MUST REPORT TO SET TO RECEIVE THIS BUMP! Tests from other productions are not valid on this set as each production has their own Covid guidelines and labs. Your results must come from the designated lab that all cast, and crew use on this production.
The rate for extras on this production is $90 for 8hrs of work (Paid time in a half each hour after 8hrs), which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.
