CASTING CALL NOTICE FOR SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS

Side Hustlers/Small businesses wanted for Filming

Looking for people for an online discussion small group for Linked in.

Have you previously worked in a conventional career and then gone out alone and started a small business?

We are looking for small business owners with a unique company. From creative /crafty to techy to purpose driven.

This will appear on Facebook/linked in as a 2 minute table top discussion programme.

Shoot date: Wednesday 25th May
(Half day for filming )

Location: London studio
Incentive: £450

All possible work dates are contingent upon clearing pre-employment Covid test(s).  

Amanda J is taking submissions for a show that will commence shooting in the next few weeks.

We have no set dates yet, but are seeking to build a master list to work from for the duration of the shoot.

Looking for BG to portray Chinese looking background. 

A lot of the work will take place in San Gabriel, CA. 

This production has a mandatory vaccination policy for all Zone A workers, including Background Actors, Stand-Ins, and other talent ages 5 and above working on its set.  To be eligible to work on this production, you must be (1) either (a) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine AND received a “Booster” if you are eligible for a Booster according to CDC guidelines (click here to check if you are eligible for Booster) (Also: if you received the AstraZeneca and Novavax vaccines, then three doses of any combination of Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, or Novavax vaccines would deem you Boosted) or (b) fully vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine but not yet Booster-eligible; or (2) have a medical disability or sincerely-held religious belief that prevents vaccination.  Any offer of work is “conditioned” on you providing adequate proof to Production that you meet the criteria mentioned above.  If you are unable to show adequate proof to Production, then you are ineligible to be hired for this Production.

Melissa is a pistol-she’s fearless, smart, and very animated. She turns a small illegal steroids operation into an international million dollar enterprise.

Storyline: Melissa was a boss chick who ran her own crew and took what two men had barely started and used her business acumen to create an empire.

MARIA (Featured):
White, Mediterranean or Hispanic female/25-35 years old. 5’1″ – 5’3″ Full bodied. Hair is colored purple and falls just below the shoulders. Maria is Melissa’s older sister by 8 years- growing up in a 1st generation Italian home, she understood the importance of pride in, and value of family. Maria lived with Melissa through key moments of Melissa’s journey and has had a first-hand view of her sister’s crime, incarceration, and redemption.

JOEY (Featured):
White male/20-35 years.  5’10”, muscular, short brown hair and trimmed beard. Joey has a checkered past filled with drug addiction and incarceration. But peel back the layers and you’ll see a man with a big heart and a lot of love for his wife of eleven years.

PHIL (Featured):
White male/20-35 years. 6’1″, clean cut, short goatee. Brown hair. Melissa’s best friend; described as “half her brother, half her second baby daddy.” Phil was the co-founder of the illegal steroid operation and he was the catalyst for Melissa’s entrance into their illegal steroids operation.

TYLER (Featured):
White male, 20 to 35 years old. Bodybuilder, (think muscle head/serious gym rat); muscular symmetry & definition. Short brown hair with neatly trimmed goatee. Tyler was co-founder & the face of his & Phil’s illegal steroids operation, and used his social media persona on Instagram + to promote steroid sales.  He handled all social media and marketing.

MOM (Featured):
Mediterranean, white or Hispanic female/40-60 years. FEATURED. 5’1″-5’4″ and has short-cropped, brown hair. Traditional Italian matriarch who immigrated to the USA.
