Healthcare Commercial Casting Call

Casting: 20 Non-Union/Non-Speaking Principal Roles 

Ages 9-72 years FOR A HEALTHCARE COMMERCIAL
Shooting Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvannia
Date: August 18-22, 2022.

All should be able to work any day that week.
Some talent may be needed for two days.

Rates: $1000/day for 1 Year buyout

  • Fitting for those within 150 miles of Pittsburgh on August 17th – $300
  • Those beyond 150 miles of Pittsburgh will be fitted on the shoot day.

Mileage will be provided for those outside of the 150 mile radius but within driving distance of Pittsburgh – No hotel or per diem.


COVID PROTOCOLS: VAXXES ARE NOT MANDATORY, however
the client would prefer talent to be fully vaxxed with at least 1 booster BUT If you do not have these vaccinations, they will require the talent to provide production with a negative covid PCR test done 2 days prior to their first day of shooting.

Self-tape direction:
Slate on a head to toe shot, face the camera, smile and say your name, role, city, and agent (if you have one) and if you are 56-72 yrs, please also let us know if you are a good/confident swimmer and are ok to wear a bathing suit in a scene. Then stop and reset the camera (or move towards camera) into a medium shot (waist or chest up) and answer the question:

  • 60 seconds or so is fine.
  • When sending your self-tapes, please also INCLUDE a recent headshot and full length still photo (well-lit smart phone smiling photos are fine if you don’t have a professional photos. No hats or sunglasses please).

WE ARE CASTING: Men and Women (25-72 yrs) and Children (9-12 yrs) – white, black, hispanic, bi-racial and ethnically ambiguous.
(20) roles in the following age ranges are available and the director will choose which role that he would like booked talent to play, such as doctor, patient, visitor, health care worker, park goer, swimmer (56-72 year olds only – please note in your slate if you are a good swimmer) or school age child.

We are looking for a male and three female showreel scene partners for filmings on the 6th and 8th of August in London (Exact location TBC).
