Seeking Featured Core Extras with Actual Culinary/Food Industry Experience
  • Role: Chef’s Staff- Men and Women, Any Ethnicity, aged 20-55.
Rate: $200/12hr per shoot date, $70 for fitting date, and $35 for covid testing date.
 
Our Core Background will be needed nearly the entirety of the shoot starting 9/3-10/23 (5 days per week) and will be heavily featured throughout the film.
Those who have worked in gourmet kitchens, fine dining restaurants, or have special culinary skills (knife skills, sous chefs, pastry chefs etc.) are STRONGLY encouraged to apply.
No previous acting or on set experience is required, but is definitely a huge plus.
 
We will be hosting in person auditions for these roles throughout the next few weeks due to the special skills needed. Submitting does not guarantee you will have the opportunity to audition. If selected for an audition you will be contacted via email to schedule a time slot

Covid Test & Fitting dates $84.00/day (**NOTE: this rate is contingent on you showing up to work on set and will be paid in installments – $34.00/day guaranteed base rate for initial test/fitting with an additional $50.00/day (for each test/fitting) allowance added to your voucher on your work date. If you do not show up for the filming date, you will not be eligible for and will forfeit the $50/day allowance for any tests/fittings but will still be paid the $34/day guarantee)

Sizes 38-42 suit jacket with waist sizes 30-36″, height range 5’7″-6’2″, smaller average sizes to accommodate period clothing. NO colored hair, NO shaved bald heads, NO modern/quirky haircuts, NO visible tattoos or piercings. NO facial hair other than small mustache that you are willing to have trimmed for the 1930s period style. MUST be willing to let Hair Dept cut your hair if necessary for the time period
