“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3”

Welcome to the virtual open call for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 

We are casting for VARIOUS Types for photo selection by the director, and we will continue to post for more types and update you as filming continues. 

Here are the basics: 

Filming dates: starts in November and will continue thru the end of March 2022. We film a  Monday thru Friday work week, in and around ATLANTA and FAYETTEVILLE, GA. 

VACCINATION & TESTING for COVID 19- ALL extras must be fully vaccinated within 2 weeks prior to their first work date. ALSO, everyone working on the film is covid tested within 48 hours of each work date, including fittings etc… (or must show proof of a PCR test within 48 hrs from another project). Covid testing may also occur once on set, if the scene is multiple days. All covid testing done ahead of time on a separate day ahead of time, is a $50 add’l payment TO everyone. WE PAY YOU, to be covid tested. 

NOTE: 

You must be local to the GREATER ATLANTA AREA, or able to work as a local hire, which includes being legal to work in the U.S. with a non-restricted passport or work visa.

 

TYPES NEEDED 

 

  1. ALIEN TYPES #1

– Character looks:quirky types, thin/gaunt faces, unique features,  longer necks, crooked/unique noses, imperfect teeth, strong facial bone structures/intense, etc…, tough, rough, badass types, amputees, BALD men and women, long hair, scarred, shaved heads, facial hair or clean shaven, etc… 

NOTE: some of these types will have prosthetics and some will not!

– Ages 18 to 60, all ethnicities

– Men and Women

– WORK DATES: First group works 2 to 3 days approx. in mid -November, and then others Jan/Feb/March dates tbd 

– PAY RATES: $88/8 with add’l bumps if chosen for prosthetics( Prosthetic bumps range (for different levels) from $35 to $100. We pay $50 each time you are covid tested when not already working for us on that given day. 

 

  1. ALIEN TYPES #2 and SECURITY GUARDS

 – Character types – same as above as far as faces, and types,  HOWEVER, more specifically, these types have  body size and HEADS/HAIR requirements – SEE BELOW

–  Ages 25 to 55, all ethnicities

– Men and Women

– WORK DATES: BOTH of these types work multiple dates in November and December (approx 3 to 10 days of work)

(you will be booked for 2 or more days for these spots,  if selected, so you must be open for all until selections are made-you will be notified if you are being included in the presentation to the director and there will be plenty of advance notice).  

– PAY RATES: tbd- this rate will be slightly higher than the regular extra rate 

Hair/bald bump for shaving head or cutting hair is also TBD (but will be fair). ALSO, We pay $50 each time you are covid tested when not already working for us on that given day. 

 

Specific HAIR and BODY TYPE REQUIREMENTS 

Alien Types #2 – Slender to average body types

  • HAIR:  BALD MEN and WOMEN ONLY (or willing to BE BALD…option: we can work with heads that are shaved around the ears and neck approx 3”  wide, with 3-4” inches on top but must be shaved or willing to be shaved around the ears and neck. 

Security Guards – average to bigger body types (bulky not heavyset), with weapons training

  • HAIR SHORT HAIR or BUZZ CUT or willing to have a hair cut – this includes the WOMEN (must have short hair or willing to have it cut short)!

KIDS NEEDED 

This casting notice is for KIDS ages 9 to 12 only

Here are the basics: 

Filming dates for GG3: filming starts in November and will continue thru the end of March 2022. We film a  Monday thru Friday work week, in and around ATLANTA and FAYETTEVILLE, GA. The first smaller group of  kids will be working towards the end of  November for a few days only, and then in the new year, we will have more days for more kids.

REAL PIANO PLAYER NEEDED!!!

Project: ORDINARY JOE

Dates needed: Wed 9/22 (covid test), Friday 9/24 Filming date

Rate: $175/12 for filming date, $43.75 for Covid test

Brandi is looking for a real experienced Piano player to work on a TV series.  You won’t be playing the piano, but you must have skilss and know your way around a piano. You must be at least 18 years of age or older, and either currently registered with Central Casting OR available to register this week before the work date. 

Male or Female, any ethnicity, Casual look and attire, most important is REAL Piano playing experience. Must be available to Covid test tomorrow Wednesday the 22nd, and must be fully open and available all day Friday the 24th for Filming.
